Although SG revolves its membership around massively multiplayer games like EvE, LotRO, or World of Warcraft, we are also active in some of the smaller team oriented games such as Armed Assault 2. Bad Company 2 Beta is Here!

SG is knee-deep in playing all of our portal games but the Warzone has a new game in the form of Battlefield Bad Company 2 (the PC version.) We are having a blast playing it in Beta and can't wait for the release. See you on the battlefield!

Sturmgrenadier Gaming League - Season 2 is On

The Sturmgrenadier Gaming League is now in full swing in Season Two with November here. Look for the winners to be announced at the end of the month!

Sturmgrenadier Gaming League Now Open!

The Sturmgrenadier Gaming League (SGL) faces off SG members against SG members in new and classic RTS and FPS games. It is structured in round robin type tournaments in which the winners will have a shot at great new prizes like Steam Gift purchases and copies of upcoming titles. Check out our Members Only forums for more info!

SG started up a new future portal in Aion today. Given the launch of this new and exiting game we are going to give it a try and see if it can stand the test of time. If you are a like-minded individual and think you will fit into our organized methods come apply today!

SG's Warzone is now playing in Armed Assault II. Our Darkfall portal is gaining members back and new people as well since the move to the NA server. Lord of the Rings Online, Eve, and WoW all continue to do very well. Suprisingly the summer "lull" we normally see didn't happen this year. Maybe people are playing more games than going on vacation due to the economy? Regardless, it's good to see SG playing across the board. Oh yeah, we have a contingent of people even playing the web game Evony (during the day for the most part.)

Armed Assault 2 is coming out this month in the US and we have a squad or two getting ready to play the game. If you are looking for a fun time, in a organized squad, come check out Arma2 with us. Or, if you still love WoW, EvE, LotRo, or Darkfall, check us out for one of those games.

Sturmgrenadier is moving right along in multiple games right now. We have the new WOW content upgrade to play, new books to go through in LotRO, a whole world of politics to deal with in Darkfall, fun to be had in Project Reality (a BF2 mod,) epic battles in EvE, and more. We also are looking forward to some realistic shooters this summer if they release on time, and that's a big IF! Darkfall is here and is not vaporware, go figure! They opened up the pre-orders for the game and there are a few dozen SG'ers playing the game along with several allies (alliance members.) The portal is being run by Yomm and he has a great officer staff to work with (and great members!) I look forward to seeing the rest of SG and our alliance members get in game and play with us. After a rocky start the game is off to the races and we are playing with no real lag or problems. I hope to see you in game soon!

We have all taken a break for the holidays and now gaming is back in full swing again. SG is active in many games and we have Darkfall on the horizon FINALLY! That's right, Darkfall is finally here and you will see SG there in a big way. I personally can't wait to see if the FPS meets MMORPG lives up to the hype. See you in Beta or in-game!

There are just too many good games to play right now and not enough time. We have the World of Warcraft Expansion, Lord of the Rings Expansion, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, and of course Warhammer to keep us busy in our gaming lives. It's a great day to be a gamer but not such a great day to have jobs and real lives as well! See you in game!

SG launched right into the Warhammer Online Collector's Edition Head-Start program today with over 60 members with the CE edition. SG chose the Order side on the Volkmar server. See you there!

World of Warcraft
Sturmgrenadier is clearing content we as a guild have never seen before! Mt. Hyjal is in our sights and half of the bosses are down. We fully expect to have the entire thing cleared in short order so we can move on to the next best thing. Great job team!

Age of Conan
We have grown from 20 starting members in Age of Conan to now over 90 registered users and with new recruits joining daily we expect the numbers to continue to grow there. Battlekeeps here we come!

Lord of the Rings Online
Membership, or should I say Fellowship, is stronger than ever in Lord of the Rings as our members progress through the latest chapter of content.

Eve
Due to the secure nature of EvE I can't divulge what we are up to there but can tell you it's very exciting to see the SG team in EvE continue to dominate in everything they do!

Warzone
Call of Duty 4 has a new patch out and the guys are having a great time there. Battlefield 2142 has seen a resurgence in play-levels with the 1.5 patch which is exciting as SG has a great group of skilled players in that game. And last but not least, Planetside is alive and kicking with a dozen or so SG'ers on every night. If you are itching for some FPS fun go check out the Warzone Teamspeak server and get in on the fun!

Sturmgrenadier has launched it's new Age of Conan Portal and is actively playing on the Thog server with several dozen members. Our ultimate goal is to rule the battlefield in Battlekeep gameplay and we are well on our way with our city. Come join us today and help pave the way to the future!

Our Warzone portal has consolidated the games it operates in down to a single, ultra-realistic military simulator.  I call it a military simulator as Armed Assault is like no other FPS game on the market.  It has more rules of war in it than you can shake a stick at.
